For doubles, order the pair. For a regular court, make four matching pieces and put one name in each position. Pickleball and padel both give you partners, clubs, first tournaments, disputed points, and a final December game where the ornaments can be handed out.

Football and soccer begin with the name and number everyone already knows. Add the ordinary part you will miss when the season changes: the early kickoff, the muddy kit, the folding chair, the coach, or the photograph taken after everyone stopped posing.
